Getting here,
getting around

Chicken buses run from San Salvador's Terminal de Occidente all day, about an hour and a half and under two dollars. From the Santa Ana terminal it's a ten-minute walk or a two-dollar tuk-tuk to our door. Coming from Guatemala, the border at San Cristóbal is forty minutes out.

Once you're here everything downtown is walkable: the theatre, the market, the cathedral, and about six places we like to eat. Lake Coatepeque and the volcano are day trips; the Ruta de las Flores is a long, good one. Ask us at breakfast and we'll draw it on a map.
